Step 1 Once you have downloaded the pdf file, open in Photoshop and adjust the ‘bride’ and ‘groom’ text with the names you want.
Step 2 Print out on good quality stock paper.
Step 3 Measuring the width of your matchbox, make a pencil marker on your print out where you need to cut. Do this at the top and bottom. Align your ruler with these marks and cut using a sharp hobby knife. Do the same for the height, making sure your design is as centred as you can get it.
Step 4 I used a tacky glue and brushed it over the back of the design before pressing down and holding in place on the matchbox for a few minutes to set. Do the same for the front of the matchbox and repeat until you have covered all your matchboxes.
TIP: If you have any paper hanging over, wait until your glue is dry, flip it over so the paper that is hanging over is flat on the table and shear off any excess with your hobby knife.
