Make Easy DIY Eco Friendly Beeswax Food Wraps

Are you trying to be plastic-free? Don’t want to pay a fortune for the 3-pack re-useable beeswax wraps? Well, you’ve stumbled upon the right tutorial for you. As picked up by Houzz, our tutorial on making organic beeswax food wraps make a great alternative to plastic.

So let’s join forces and ditch the plastic, single-use petroleum products. Let’s make a bunch of these multi-use eco friendly fabric beeswax food wraps in it’s place.

These are wonderful to wrap sandwiches in, and other short term food storage but I would opt for a glass container or mason jar for watery substances as these are not watertight or airtight.

The only skill needed is to be able to cut cleanly with a pair of scissors, use a cheese grater and an iron. Come on, you can do it! You can make a lot of these in the one day, enough to set you up for a months use of plastic-wrap.

Think of the savings.

Think of the planet.

Won’t somebody think of the children?? – I’ve been waiting to say that for so long now!

Let’s get stuck into it:
